Area Structure Plans (ASPs) are documents that have been approved by Woodlands County as bylaws.
The County's Area Structure Plans provide a framework that articulates proposed land uses; population densities; sequence of development; general location of major roadways; public utilities in the area; and any additional requirements that Council may require. The objectives of Area Structure Plans are to:
- Establish the sequence of development proposed for the area,
- Establish land uses proposed for the area, either generally or with respect to specific parts of the area, and
- Identify the general location of major transportation routes and public utilities.
