Fire Prevention Week

From October 3 - 9, communities across North America observe Fire Prevention Week and spread awareness of the ways people can protect themselves, their families and their homes from the dangers of fire. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and Woodlands County firefighters will be reminding residents to "Learn the Sounds of Fire Safety" this year. The campaign educates everyone about the different sounds the smoke and carbon monoxide alarms make and how to take action.
