Located along Highway 658 between Blue Ridge and Fort Assiniboine, Schuman Lake Recreation Area and Campground is a peaceful destination for a day trip or weekend getaway.
The clean, calm, spring-fed lake is stocked annually with rainbow trout and is ideal for fishing, kayaking, paddleboarding and swimming. Visitors can also enjoy a boat launch, a spacious dock and a day-use area with picnic tables and barbecue facilities.
Pack a lunch, grab your fishing rods and spend a relaxing day surrounded by nature. To help preserve the lake’s natural, unspoiled beauty, only non-motorized watercraft are permitted.
