Woodlands County offers programs to recognize the outstanding academic and community-oriented achievements of students in the region.
Community Services has two bursaries:
1. The Post-Secondary Bursary consists of a monetary grant of $2,000 for first-year bursaries and $1,000 for second-year bursaries for a total of $3,000.00 over two years of their selected program.
- Post-secondary Bursary applications are due no later than October 15 of each year.
2. The Apprenticeship Bursary consists of a monetary grant of up to $1,500 for first-year bursaries and $1,500 for second-year bursaries for a total of $3,000 over two (2) years of their selected program.
- Apprenticeship Bursary applications are accepted throughout the year.
